The time has come!!! Finally! Chris has wanted to take me to Europe for a long time and we finally get to go! I am getting VERY excited! Chris has the good fortune to have a "course" that he is to take for work in Switzerland and while that part will most definitely be work for him it will be down time for me. We are going to spend a week in Italy prior to the work part of the trip and that will be so much fun. Chris has traveled more than I have overseas and he spent some time in Venice and fell in love with it--has always wanted to take me there and now is our chance. I am so blessed. I know that! I don't doubt that for a minute. We have had a pretty incredible past couple of years with a lot of adventures and we have realized that this is kind of "our" time. You just never know what tomorrow may bring and we are fortunate enough right now to be able to do this. I am so totally illiterate when it comes to the language thing there but I am sure I will figure it out!!! The hard time will be when I am on my own while Chris works!!! I have my Kindle loaded with a bunch of new books, will have my camera and laptop and am pretty well packed up already. Chris gets home tonight so there will be massive laundry and packing done for him before we leave tomorrow.
