We survived our night at the hotel in Bologna and it really was not that bad but for some reason I did not sleep well! I kept thinking that when we got up in the morning our car would be gone....but thank goodness all was well and we got on our way early to Venice. It has helped that Chris has been here before because he knew exactly where to park and how to get the water taxi to our hotel, etc. Like I said---I love traveling with him!!! We got to the Hilton really early but it was no problem checking in---this is the off season so they are not packing them in. The room is awesome and we are very comfy here!!! We both napped and are just going to enjoy being in one place for 3 nights. We took a long walk out around the island and looked at all the cool buildings and churches---tomorrow will be picture day! I think we are going to go do some real sightseeing in the morning so I am sure that will be fun!
